Morph and Move
A collection of pieces that aimed to push the boundaries of a pinch pot. Made specifically for the Chiddingly Arts Festival in 2019, these pieces were the inspired by the nearby Farley’s Farm, home of Lee Miller and Roland Penrose.
Final Work at West Dean
In my final year of a Diploma in Arts and Contemporary Craft my ceramic practice developed alongside my love of text and stitch, providing a series of mixed media presentations leading to a Distinction.
Twisting and turning and pulling apart the notion of a coil pot, along with further experiments with coloured clays led to this collection of work, displayed in various venues in 2017
Not that far from where we live is the windswept East Sussex coast. The driftwood found around Cuckmere Haven and the white wintry skies provided the colour palette for this collection made for the Brighton Festival Open Houses in May 2016
As I began my ceramics journey, my inspiration readily came from my surroundings, particularly the juxtopsition of the woods of the East Sussex Weald, and the nearby Downs.
